It is our honor to have Professor Peter Lam Yip Keung (Class 1967) to be the guest speaker. Peter is a much respected art historian as well as a museum professional. He is Director of Art Museum of CUHK, Council Member of the Chinese Society of Ancient Ceramics in Beijing, and former Chairman of Archeological Committee of HK Government.
Over the dinner, he will share his own experience in the topic – Detecting the Fakes: Dating and Connoisseurship of Antique Chinese Ceramics. His approach would be suitable for laymen as well as serious collectors. Also, Peter will share with us his path – from an Upper Six Biology student in St. Louis to an Art Historian.
