Biology and Chemistry Scholarships Update
Dear Aloysians,
We are thrilled to share with you the heartening news of our recent success in the scholarship fundraising campaign launched on 6 November 2024. Thanks to your unwavering support and generous contributions, we have raised the impressive sum of HK$691,846.76 (Biology: 341,527.34 and Chemistry: 350,319.42) on behalf of our Alma Mater. Based on our current projection, your donations will help our School to fund the “Rev Fr Anthony Bogadek Biology Scholarship” (鮑嘉天神父生物學獎學金) and “Mr NG Kwok Hon Chemistry Scholarship” (吳國翰老師化學獎學金) for at least the next five years.
The donations exceed our initial target of HK$500,000- and the Work Group will endeavour to make the best use of the donations to support our younger brothers in their performance in the science subjects.
Your contributions to the Biology and Chemistry Scholarships will significantly impact the futures of many deserving students as well as enable our Alma Mater to establish the list of recipients of the School’s academic awards. This will be instrumental in motivating our younger brothers and setting an academic goal in recognition of their hard work and dedication. We trust this will further boost our younger brothers’ self-esteem and encourage them to enhance their academic efforts. We are deeply grateful for your kindness and belief in our mission.
As members of the Work Group, we remain steadfast in our commitment to maintaining a high standard of transparency and accountability. We will work closely with the school authority to ensure rigorous and fair screening of awardees. Additionally, we will continue to provide support to the school authority in managing all logistical aspects diligently, to maximize the benefits of your donations.
